Bufo Facilitator and desert connection training during the monsoon season, when the
Sonoran Desert is blessed with the presence of the Bufo Alvarius Toad, as well as the
beautiful sacrament and the spirit molecule within it (5-MEO DMT)

About The Training

ONLY 2 SESSIONS AVAILABLE -- Each session will be 8 weeks in length with 7 weeks of online training and 1 week of in-person training. The in-person portion of the training will take place in Sonora, MX. The Bufo Toad is only above ground for 3 months out of the year so the timing of our course work is planned around the ability to interact with the toads directly. 2025 training dates are as follows:

  • July 1-Aug 21 - in-person training for this session will be July 24-July 30, 2025

  • July 29-Sept 11 - in-person training for this session will be August 21-27, 2025

COST -- $5555 paid in full OR 3 payments of $2000 with total amount due by the start date of the in -person portion of the training

What Is Included?

This training is designed to:

​

  • Introduce global medicine carriers directly to the animals

  • Teach ethical harvesting of the sacrament

  • Cultivate connection to the desert homeland of these sacred animals

  • Provide affiliation and immersive experience with Seri/Comcaac Nation

  • Share best practices and contra-indications

  • Teach creation of sacred ceremony space set and setting

  • Maximize the transformative potential of the medicine through learning how to guide clients through intake, preperation, and integration

  • Medical Training by a Certified BSL Instructor

    • Basic Life Support

    • Basic Emergency Medicine​​

  • 7 weeks (13 classes) of online coursework focused on enhancing the transformative effects of the medicine for your clients through intake, preparation, ceremony, ritual, and integration work

  • 1 week of in-person training in the homeland of the Bufo Alvarius toad and the Seri/Comcaaci Nation

  • Transportation from Tucson to Santa Ana, Sonora, and Desemboque, home of the

Seri/Comcaac Nation

  • Shared housing (men and women separate)

    • private housing available for $333 extra​

  • 2 Meals Per Day

  • Temazcal experience with classmates

  • Toad collection and ethical harvesting and sacrament gathering

  • Learn about the life cycle and habitat of the Bufo Alvarius

  • Experience the medicine that YOU collected with the facilitators of the Comcaac/Seri
